Root Shadow Blend to Create the Perfect Balayage
Monday March 14, 2022
Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm
In this workshop, you will learn how to create a root shadow and blend to create the perfect blend from dark to light. You will learn the foundation for creating the root shadow and blend and which haircolor tool to use when creating your visual end-result. You’ll learn to apply your application with both, bowl & brush and bottle and when to use one over the other. Sherry will help you understand the importance of light and dark and will demonstrate step-by-step technique featuring how to soften the blonde closest to the scalp area to create the look of a soft, sexy blonde. Sherry will also teach you how to transition from one formula to the next to create a continuous look from a darker to lighter shade down the strand of the hair without noticing the color transition.
Students must bring: foil comb/rat tail comb, clips, gloves, color bottle applicator, color brush and bowl, note pad and pen.
A mannequin head will be provided for you to practice on during the workshop, and you can take the mannequin head home with you!
